I’ve always had a passion for flowers since high school, I believed that flowers are a precious gift and can lift up anyone’s mood, and create memorable occasions. After 15 years working in engineering and feeling like my calling wasn’t there anymore, it was time to turn my passion into business! A few family members thought that I’m crazy, but then again I knew what path would take me back into being happy as well as making others also find their inner peace through our flower shop.
Since then, I started studying floral business and with every course taken, my intrinsic feeling of “being right” has grown stronger. Having said this, I do not regret working for this long period in engineering as I learned many skills that now I optimise in my flower shop at all occasions.
We are all capable of greatness, but it takes a team. I was fortunate enough to have amazing professional team members who helped shape this company into what it is today; our team holds up our values every day, so they can shine through everything we do here at Petals & Leaves flower shop. I couldn’t be prouder than now because without them by my side pushing me forward each step along the way, then would’ve seemed impossible.

Marwa believed that flowers can be used in innovative ways to express love, appreciation or sympathy.
